Start with the reason and deadline
Identify the network or processor reason, disputed amount, transaction identifiers, response deadline, and required format. Evidence that does not address the stated reason adds volume without answering the dispute.
Create a short chronology from checkout through fulfillment and later communication. Label timestamps and time zones.

- Customer contact
- Refund or cancellation
Submit minimum sufficient evidence
Use legible records that connect the cardholder or account to the transaction and show the relevant policy or service outcome. Redact unrelated personal data and avoid screenshots without context.
Track acceptance, outcome, fee, and recurrence. Repeated disputes of one type may reveal a product or support problem rather than an evidence problem.
